We find that the best place to be in Maine in the summer is at the beach. We love Crescent Beach, but other great beaches in the area include Higgins Beach and Scarborough Beach. Additionally, Bradbury Mountain provides a short, moderately difficult climb to a summit with a gorgeous view of the area. For shopping, the Old Port and Freeport are always fun.
